Lorac Megapro 2: Review

Today I am sharing a quick review of the Lorac Megapro 2 palette, an amazing eyeshadow palette by Lorac Cosmetics!
This is a limited edition palette for the holidays, available only on the Ulta Website for $59.
Details:

"GO PRO with the LORAC Mega PRO Palette 2! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this limited edition PRO artistry palette is the sequel to their original, best-selling Mega PRO Palette. Double the size of the original PRO Palette, the Mega PRO Palette 2 is loaded with 16 shimmer and 16 matte eye shadows to add to your collection of PRO shadows. Lorac's velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO! A $205 value!"

This palette had 32 shades, 16 matte shades and 16 shimmer shades. As with all Lorac Pro palettes, the shades feel like silk and are so incredibly soft. They blend into the skin like a dream! They are very soft, so you only need to use a light hand to get a ton of pigment!
Really all I can say is this palette is amazing. I definitely recommend it, if it is in your budget! The shades are a wonderful selection of neutrals, with some punches of wearable colors.

Luckily, this palette is much more available than last year's palette, which sold out within a couple days!
Here is a comparison of last year's (2014) holiday palette with this year's palette!
So as I said I definitely recommend this palette! It is probably one of my all time favorite palettes. The packaging is very light and thin, with a nice large mirror.

What's your favorite shade in this palette?

Also here is my very first YouTube video; a makeup tutorial featuring this palette! I hope you find it helpful!

  1. Great video, Liz! I like the brush you used to put on foundation. It seems to work better than a sponge?
I've been wearing the same shade eye shadow for years...a smoky brown :)

    1. Thank you so much for watching the video Duni! I was really nervous to post it :)
A sponge would work great for this foundation too! I just love my Real Techniques brush, its what I reach for out of laziness more than anything! What eyeshadow of you use?

    1. Oh my goodness Lorac is my #1 favorite brand for eyeshadows... and that's saying a lot considering how much I have! But the shadows are just so soft and blend able and the colors they put in their palettes are always beautiful and combine well with each other... I could go on and on haha! But yes, they are amazing!!!
