Get the Look: Shabby Hodge Podge

I love clutter. Not messy or dirty, but a miss-matched collection of items arranged in a disorganized way. I find it stimulating and inspiring. Especially on shelves and walls, out of the way of everyday use. That is something that drew me to this wonderful sitting room. I decided to call this look "Shabby Hodge Podge" because it has strong elements of shabby chic, but other elements thrown in as well. I think the room looks very liveable and organic.

Get the Look: Rustic Kitchen

I currently in love-borderline-obsessed with this kitchen. I've been that way about interiors in general lately... maybe its because I've finally convinced my boyfriend of how much I want to own a house (someday...) and he confided in me that he would rather build than buy. And the creative dreamer inside me just popped open its eyes and said "Oh! How Exciting!" And now I can't stop thinking about interiors (and exteriors, and yards... etc...) so. No building plans in the works and it may never happen but I have been inspired to start a new a feature on the blog!
