Stylish One-Pieces with Cupshe

Hello everyone!
As a mother of 2 and almost 6 months post partum, I am constantly pulled between wanting to express my creativity through fashion but also wanting to be modest and cover up my body's less flattering parts. Not to mention the pull of society that when you are a Mom you must not be sexy. In other words, I want to wear something that makes me feel like myself while looking classy, mom-appropriate but not frumpy. Ya feel me?

So I was surfing Pinterest (do they still call it surfing?) when I saw a really cute swimsuit. I pinned it, and then saw another and another, and thus I discovered Cupshe. I haven't personally tried any of these, but the designs are just incredible, as are the prices - all under $30!

There are dozens of adorable styles, but here are a few of my favorites! Can you tell that I'm ready for summer??

Weekend Favorites

Hi friends! In today's post I am  sharing  a few things I have fallen in love with lately! My favorite places to browse the internet  (when I'm not shopping for makeup) are Etsy, Pinterest, and my favorite blogs. Where do you spend your time browsing?

How lovely are these Half Moon Brass Earrings? I love the simple design paired with the natural texture and slight imperfections.

I adore these Vintage Cactus Salt & Pepper Shakers! My salt shaker recently broke so I am in need of a new set. Plus I love anything cute and vintage!
These Brass Pineapple Bookends are so beautiful! I  dream of a wall-to-wall bookcase full of books and beautiful bookends like these! #dreamhouse

I already made Lila a shirt that says "Big Sister" but how cute would she look in this Big Sister Shirt?? It looks nice a light for the spring & summer too!

How precious are these Superhero Rag Dolls? If I got these for Lila, I would have to keep them on their own special shelf when she wasn't playing with them, they are literally handmade works of art!

My goal this month is to try these DIY Maternity Jeans!!!

Another simple DIY I want to try, this DIY Easy Choker T-Shirt could give pizzazz to an old boring  t-shirt, or in my case maternity shirts!

I am absolutely obsessed with the Busbee Style Style Reboot Series. Erin Busbee is a fashion blogger and YouTuber who has amazing style advice for all ages, but particularly adult women. She just started this weekly series and I have already learned so much!!! Her videos include: Challenges, Style Journey, Styling Basics, Dressing Your Age, Tricks to Make You Look Skinnier, and Identifying Your Style. I think I'm going to write a post in the future about identifying my own personal style!

I'd love to hear what you guys have been loving this week! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, and I'd like to leave you with this quote:

Fall Clothing Wishlist

If you know me well then you know that I am much more likely to spend extra money on makeup than clothing. I am just a makeup kind of girl! But every season I like to take some time out to pick a few pieces that complement my wardrobe and fit the season, even if I'm not going to buy them! These are some fall pieces I have been loving lately!

I love the fit and style of these cargo pants, and especially the zipper!

Thin, flowing tops like this one are perfect for layering under jackets and sweaters!

I love the gold print on this t-shirt, it would really pop under some layers!

The fabric and texture of this coat is just divine!

A crisp, sharp take on the classic plaid flannel!

The color of this skirt is so amazing and vibrant!

This sweater could easily be dressed up or down.

I love the contrast of the flowing bottom and sharp shoulders and collar of this classy blazer.

The fit of this skirt is flattering on many body types!

What are your fall favorites?
