Tarte Light of the Party Collector's Makeup Case

How beautiful is that packaging though!?!?
The Tarte Light of the Party Collector's Makeup Case is available on the Sephora website for $59.
Details:
"Be the center of the room with this festive, limited-edition collection, feautring tarte’s beauty favorites, designed to create smoldering makeup looks for any celebration. Create an eye-catching statement wherever you go with the travel-size takeaway palette, featuring shadow, cheek and contouring shades. The trendy collector’s case features a full-size, built-in eye shadow palette with 30 shades, including 24 brilliant, never before seen shades in mixed mattes and shimmers. With a travel-friendly eye shadow brush and deluxe-size mascara, this set is perfect for achieving seamless, on-the-go touch-ups for alluring, party-perfect looks."
This large set of 24 shadows that you see are stuck in this large palette, with a deluxe "Lights, Camera, Lashes," Mascara and a double ended brush.
The smaller palette is removable and perfect for travel. When you remove the smaller palette, there is a mirror behind it, which is very handy!

In my opinion, the matte shades are beautiful and higher quality than the shimmer shades.
This smaller palette is really nice, with a blush, bronzer and highlighter as well as six eyeshadow shades. I feel like because of the size and variety I will get more use out of this palette than the larger one overall.
In my opinion this palette is a good palette and it is definitely worth the money, but it is not essential. If you don't own many Tarte products and are looking for somewhere to start, this is a good point. Also if you are a collector, than you might be drawn to this palette for the packaging alone!
But if you already have a good selection of eyeshadows in your collection and you are looking for something a bit different, you might want to choose a different holiday palette.

What's your favorite part about this palette?

And here is a video tutorial using this palette! I hope you enjoy!
